There are four floors above ground, with guest rooms on the top three and the lobby, restaurant, gym and conference rooms on the ground floor. I really like the design aesthetic throughout the hotel. It felt modern and quirky, with some interesting art and decorations.

The hotel was clean througout and service was very friendly. Always with a smile and they helped with any requests I had.

INNSiDE has three different room types. I stayed in the standard “INNSiDE Room” which is what I’ve featured in my Youtube review and the images here. They also have “The Studio” and “The Townhouse” which are just bigger versions. The townhouse room does have a balcony but honestly it didn’t look that appealing. And the only view is of surrounding offices. My overall impression of the room was very positive. It was very clean with modern comfy furniture. My only negative was that the bed was too hard for me.

The bathroom was also good too with the exception of the towels which I found too small and unabsorbent. The rain shower was great with lots of space and good water flow. It has had a glass wall between the shower and the bedroom which I like, though others might not. No real complaints besides this however.

There was plenty of storage space for clothes as well as a safe, kettle/drinks and some free soft drinks in the mini fridge.

The restaurant area felt modern and well decorated. They’re open all day serving breakfast in the morning and lunch and dinner later in the day.

Starting with breakfast there is a pretty good selection. Fresh juices, coffee and tea are available. Both hot and cold food options are available. I had a yoghurt and some fruit (if you don’t like melon then there isn’t much choice) as well as some scrambled egg and bacon.

I also ate lunch at their De Gaart restaurant. As I was part of a large group it was just a set menu. Pumpkin soup to start followed by grilled salmon and vegetables, then some sort of apple tart for dessert. The food was well cooked but definitely lacking in flavour. Very vanilla but it is suitable for everyone so can’t fault them for that.

Service was good throughout and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was also good.

There was also a small 24 hour gym. It didn’t have much equipment but what was there is very modern and feels high quality. The hotel also says you can hire a personal trainer whilst there but I didn’t do that.

The hotel also has a lot of bikes available to rent if you want to cycle into the city, which would probably take 15-20 min.

INNSiDE by Melia, Luxembourg is the perfect business hotels. It has a high standard of service, all the facilities you would need and was very clean. The room was nice and comfy. Breakfast was good and the food overall was fine.

The standard “INNSiDE Room” costs £101.87 per night if you have MeliaRewards and £135.82 per night under the standard rate. Considering Luxembourg is such an expensive city (a 20 minute taxi ride cost €60) I think this is quite reasonable.

If you don’t mind staying on the outskirts of Luxembourg city then this is a great choice for a short stay. Even better if you’re visiting one of the offices nearby.

I would give it an 8/10
